Fall Outdoor

LOCATION:

NAME:

Tyler & Erin’s wedding came together in just under three months, shaped by family health concerns that made the day even more meaningful. What began as a guest list of 90 quickly grew to over 125 loved ones, all showing up to support them. With fall colors and an outdoor setting, the day was both beautiful and full of heart. From a golf simulator and 360 photo booth to a moving army ceremony honoring the bride’s father, every moment felt personal. In the end, it was an emotional, joy-filled evening surrounded by the people who mattered most.

In many Indian traditions, white symbolizes loss and mourning. In much of the West, it represents beginnings and promise. When these meanings meet, something new emerges. This engagement shoot of an Indian bride and American groom reflects that blend. Their all-white attire doesn’t reject tradition—it redefines it. White becomes a meeting point, carrying memory and hope, showing that meaning evolves. For Alec & Monica, it mirrors their journey: grounded in difference, united in love. A quiet reminder that love can reshape tradition and create something entirely its own.

Our own wedding sparked the idea for Kokate Events. Held at an arts-and-science–themed hotel, it was intimate, simple, and endlessly fun. With AJ’s background in corporate event planning, every detail was a joy to design—and when friends started asking us to plan their weddings, Kokate Events was born. Years later, with many twists and turns along the way, we’re grateful for every step that brought us here.
