Our Partnerships
Our three Partnership options are designed to help us create something amazing together. Each can be customized or expanded after our initial consultation.
While every partnership covers the main event day(s), additional services (like bachelor/bachelorette party) can be added to make your experience fully personalized.

Our Philosophies

Our “Planning & Design” services are offered at a fixed fee that encompasses service charges, gratuity, taxes, and any additional fees. In essence, the price you will see in our Initial Consultation is the total amount you will pay. Unlike others who may impose percentage-based fees or additional charges, we believe in transparency and simplicity, striving to assist our clients as effectively as possible. The only times our prices increase are for the actual manufacturing of a product or if you’d like us to plan/design an event outside of your wedding weekend.

This includes full coordination and management of the wedding day. We do not limit the number of hours we are there and usually work 8am-12am.

We create an individual timeline for every individual vendor as well as for the couple and wedding party. This makes it easy for everyone to understand their role and responsibilities.

Unique to Kokate Events, we keep backup photographers, DJ, officiants, and even caterers for your wedding day. This is a safety net we keep in place so if you are unhappy with their services or someone is sick, we can quickly deviate to ensure your day is exactly how you want it.

We have a 200+ point checklist we go through for every couple to ensure there is nothing missing.

You are welcome to meet with us virtually or in person as often as you wish. You will have access to our scheduling calendar, and we maintain group messaging with all of our couples. Whether you prefer to call, text, email, or meet in person, we strive to be accessible and typically respond within 24 hours.

All of our couples get a dedicated client portal where you can view vendor contracts, see timelines, look at our wedding checklist, send emails, and upload files.

An enhanced version of our Client Portal. While there is no difference from a functionality standpoint, this includes a large design booklet that will show your wedding as it comes to life. It still includes vendor contracts, timelines, wedding checklist, the ability to send emails, and the ability to upload files.

One of the only event planning companies in the country doing this, 50% of our couples utilize our custom manufacturing & artisan collection. It allows us to curate details you simply can’t find elsewhere. Want a photo-booth wall made of hand-painted tiles from Mexico? Check. Want to gift your guests olive oil from a small village in Greece? Done. Dreaming of a custom glass stage? Been there, done that. We even offer our own bridal jewelry line, along with custom soaps and candles crafted specifically for Kokate Events couples. If you can dream it, we can make it.
Please note that custom manufacturing does have an additional fee, corresponding to the cost of materials.

At Kokate Events, we curate only one Complete Partnership per day, with AJ, our Head Planner, personally guiding every moment. Extensive and Simple Partnerships receive AJ’s dedicated attention when available, which is confirmed during your Initial Consultation. Most Simple Partnerships are done by our seasoned coordinators who ensure it is effortless perfection.

Sometimes, we source extraordinary pieces from the market that perfectly echo the vision we’ve developed together. And when the perfect fit doesn’t exist, our custom manufacturing brings your bespoke dreams to life, ensuring your celebration is entirely one-of-a-kind.

Elizabeth, our Head Designer, curates every detail with impeccable style—from bespoke invitations and couture-inspired outfits to exquisite floral arrangements. For the Extensive Partnership, she remains your dedicated designer, stepping into meetings only as needed. This ensures her time is devoted to crafting the elevated, thoughtful designs that define your celebration.

We offer our couples an elevated, concierge-style financial management service in which all wedding expenses flow seamlessly through Kokate Events. With a single contract and a dedicated team overseeing every detail, you enjoy a refined, effortless planning experience. This exclusive service provides:
Preferred pricing and priority access with most vendors
Streamlined communication through one trusted point of contact
Flawless coordination, risk management, and compliance with venue and insurance standards
Complete transparency and accountability across every partner involved in your event
How it works:
We establish a comprehensive wedding budget tailored to your vision (flexible payment plans available).
As selections are finalized, we request your written approval before allocating any funds—ensuring every investment aligns with your priorities.
Following the wedding, we reconcile the final spend. Any overage is invoiced, and any remaining balance is promptly refunded.
Example: For a $100,000 wedding budget with a $10,000 planning and design fee, $90,000 is allocated for curated vendor selections. If the final spend is $95,000, you receive a $5,000 refund; if it reaches $105,000, the additional $5,000 is due.
There is a 1.5% processing fee by bank transfer or 3.5% processing fee by credit card for this service.
On average, we save couples 5% of their total wedding budget through contract negotiations. Couples who opt for the wedding expenses save, on average, 9%. Results do vary depending on the couple and their vendor choices.
