FAQs

What is the dress code?
Guests are encouraged to wear Indian Formal attire for the morning Indian Ceremony and Black Tie Formal attire for the evening Lutheran Ceremony and Reception. However, you are welcome to select either attire style for the day. Ample time will be allotted between celebrations for those who choose to change.

Morning Hindu Ceremony: Colorful, Festive, and Traditionally Elegant
We invite guests to celebrate in soft pastels, vibrant colors, floral prints, and light, joyful textures. Traditional Indian attire—such as lehengas, sarees, anarkalis, salwar suits, and kurta sets—and Western summer dressy attire are both warmly encouraged. Think elegant midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, lightweight suits or blazers, or polished separates.
As the ceremony includes traditional Hindu rituals, we kindly ask outfits to be family function appropriate.
Please avoid white, ivory, and all-black outfits.
